UNDER THE DARK SOIL was initially launched purely as an extreme music distribution in late 2004 with aim to spread Black Metal and other types of underground music strayed in darkness, as well as some other artistic embodiments in forms of script, vision etc. UtDS would like to radiate all the mysterious dark sound on this unpurified planet till the day we die away...

In the summer of 2008 the Transylvania "Ravage Total" Demo Tape finally unleashed as the first release under the dark soil , which was a remarkable sign for UtDS to grow into an underground label, no longer merely a distribution. In the future, all the demos submitted to UtDS will receive thorough consideration before final decisions made regarding possible release. Please bear in mind that bands in the genres of Black Metal, Doom Metal, Ambient, Post Rock, Neo Folk, Neo-Classical etc can still keep asking for demo distribution, but don't expect anything back unless full interest caused.
